Internships and volunteer positions are at the heart of Porchlight Community Services' mission to create lasting change. Whether you're a student seeking hands-on experience or someone looking to make a meaningful difference, we offer paid and unpaid opportunities to help you gain valuable skills in food rescue, program management, and more.

Through past collaborations with organizations like UCSD College Corps Fellowships, Border Region Talent Pipeline K16 Collaboration, and local high schools, we have successfully hosted interns and volunteers ranging from 3 months to 1 year. These roles provided valuable experience in sustainability initiatives, community-building projects, and food waste reduction efforts.
