Verified Volunteer Community Service in San Diego – Hours for School, Work, or Court Need your volunteer or community service hours verified for school, work, or a court/ticket requirement? Our program provides official verification letters only after your hours are completed. Nothing is signed during your shift. Shifts are 4 hours long, fast-moving, and hands-on. No electronics are allowed for safety, and you must be fully engaged during your time. No real breaks or lunch are provided; this is a short, focused shift. No-shows may block you from future participation. Payment & Scheduling: You must pay before scheduling your shift. Your program contribution covers the administrative time to track and confirm your hours. Fees cannot be waived. You’ll support meaningful tasks, including: - Food rescue and distribution - Sorting and organizing pantry items - Clothing swaps and community donation projects - Supporting free community programs Attire & Safety: Dress comfortably and wear closed-toed shoes. Bring a reusable water bottle. Tasks can be physical, so be prepared to work and stay engaged. Verification Process: Include court/ticket/case info in the comments or send via email when signing up. After completing your hours, email us to request your verification letter. Only one letter will be issued per volunteer. Cancellation Policy
Our program provides official verification letters only after your hours are completed. Nothing is signed during your shift. Ticket/Court Reference Number: When requesting a verification letter, you must provide a ticket or court reference number. This will be included in your letter for proper documentation. There are no refunds, Credits, or Carryovers on fees. This helps us manage administrative costs, as we have limited staff. Shifts are 4 hours long, fast-moving, and hands-on. No electronics are allowed for safety, and you must be fully engaged during your time. No real breaks or lunch are provided; this is a short, focused shift. No-shows may block you from future participation, notify us before 24 of your shift, otherwise you will be considered no show. Payment & Scheduling: You must pay before scheduling your shift. Your program contribution covers the administrative time to track and confirm your hours. Fees cannot be waived. 24-Hour Notice for Verification Letters: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to request a verification letter. Due to limited staff, we need sufficient time to process and generate your letter. Complete Shift for Credit: Volunteers must stay the entire shift to receive credit for their hours. Partial shifts will not be counted toward community service completion. Electronics Policy: Use of electronics, including phones, is limited to breaks or lunchtime. Please remain focused on your volunteer tasks during shift hours. Dress Code: Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Closed-toed shoes are required for safety purposes. Bring a reusable water bottle. Tasks can be physical, so be prepared to work and stay engaged.
