closing the gap on hunger.

By partnering with Porchlight Community Services, you are making
a powerful statement of caring support for our community. Companies demonstrate their commitment and corporate citizenship through
a variety of options explained below.

Financial Support

We collaborate with various businesses and individuals to rescue food and sustain our operations. Many companies find that supporting our work through financial donations, matching gift programs, and corporate foundations profoundly impacts our community. Each event we host costs approximately $500-$600, covering expenses like volunteer coordination, food procurement (averaging $250-$300), and vehicle maintenance ($150). These costs are vital to our nonprofit's operations and encompass office space, utilities, and other monthly expenses totaling between $8,000 and $10,000.

Partnering with us supports essential services, enhances brand visibility, and fosters camaraderie among your team. Porchlight Community Services is recognized for our solid partnerships in cause-related marketing and community-facing projects. Donate now to support our mission and help us continue providing vital services. 

Product/In-kind donations

If your company has any food or grocery products available for donation, don't hesitate to contact us. We are always in need of more resources to help our neighbors. 

 

To rescue food, we work with various businesses, including grocery stores, retailers, farms, manufacturers, food distributors, restaurants, and caterers.

 

We also accept individual donations through food drives and drop-offs at our location.

Food Rescue Partnership

Host a Food
and Fund drive

We collect more than thousands of pounds of food and thousands of dollars annually through Food and Fund's Drives held by community partners, including companies like yours.

We also offer the option to have an accessible, fun Virtual Food Drive.

9:30 am - 3:30 pm

 

Food Distribution Event :

(by appointment only)

Thursday 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Sunday/Saturday 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
